The United States Air Force (USAF) has awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract to Louisville, Colorado-headquartered Sticker Control.
Under the contract, Sticker Control will build on its automated physical asset tracking and process automation technology as well as its operational optimization tools. Sticker Control also will develop its technology that maps a facility quickly and accurately using WiFi signals, allowing users to assess system needs without a physical visit. The system also monitors personnel activity, acting as a personnel safety and supplemental security system.
Sticker Control is designed to be a powerful Industry 4.0 tool that is easy to adopt, straightforward to use and affordable. It makes the benefits of the Industrial Internet of Things truly accessible to public and military organizations. These organizations can progress easily to using algorithms and data analysis, modeling, and mining tools to optimize warehouse, production, logistics and supply chain operations without needing data analytics expertise. The technology will aid in sustaining the USAF supply chain operations by significantly increasing operational efficiencies and resilience via AI-powered analytical tools.
